Zaza people are part of Kurdish nation[edit]

I do not understand why some people change the category. You can read the article about Zazas. Its true, most of us consider ourselves as Kurds. Thats not something new. But at last years, some of my people (Zazas) want to be known as Zaza not any other nation. Because, in Turkey, Kurds are known as bad people by Turks (not all Turks) and some of Zazas dont want to be a part of that. On the other hand, there are some ultra-zaza nationalists now. They say, we are not Kurds but we are Zazas an original Iranian nation. I believe that, this is an effect of nationalism. Thats normal, its exist in all nations. But, there is a reality that we cant change: during history, Zaza people were part of Kurdish nation. We cant change it.--Meymano (talk) 09:24, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Zaza is one of Iranian peoples[edit]

Some part of Zazas (I think most of them are assimilated Zazas) believe that Zazas should be a part of Kurdish people. But some part of Zazas don't think so. The views between academicians are like this. The inarguable fact supported by everyone is that Zazas belongs to Category:Iranian peoples. Thank you. Assimilation? You can have your own idea. But if Kurds and Zaza are two different nations, how come Kurds could assimilate Zazas? There was a free Kurdistan or a Kurdish government that controlled Zazas? Before Turkish republic, there was no difference between Zaza and Kurds (actually Kurmanjis). If there is an assimilation, it should be occured by Turks. Thats why, some Zaza people accept themselves as Turks. (tr:İzzet Altınmeşe etc.).Please, dont make decision by yourself. Respect to Zazas. Last note: Kurdish nation belongs to Category:Iranian peoples No need to repeat the category.--Meymano (talk) 22:45, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately your approach is too ethnocentric and not neutral. Please read WP:NPOV. I think that English Wikipedia must not be a Kurdish nationalists' Wikipedia. Takabeg (talk) 23:28, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately you decide for all Zaza people. Kurdish nationalist? Do you label people as nationalist when you don't accept their ideas? I am Zaza but that doesnt change my Kurdish identity. I also told you, read article about Zazas. There are many sources there. You dont accept sources?--Meymano (talk) 20:18, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Kurdish nationalists's approach. For Kurdish nationalists (from every ethnic groups, Kurd, Zaza, even Turk can be Kurdish nationalist) who believe that Zaza people should be one of the branch of Kurdish people, ku:Kategorî:Zaza (in Kurdish-language Wikipedia) is a kind of taboo. According to sources, as you knon, there are disputes. In this case, we must not use such categories. Takabeg (talk) 06:35, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

@User talk:Meymano: Please stop edit per your own ethnocentric vandalism.

It's very easy case. There are several theories on the identity of Zaza people.

  • Theory I: Zaza people is one of the Kurdish people, which is one of the Iranian peoples.
  • Theory II: Zaza people is non-Kurdish and one of the Iranian peoples.
  • Theory III: Zaza people is Turkic origin.

According to theses I & II, Zazas is one of the Iranian peoples. Takabeg (talk) 05:57, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
