Reason for subcategorizing articles in Category:Ski lift types[edit]
I moved articles from "Category:Ski lifts" to "Category:Ski lift types" because the first category currently contains seven articles, listed below, that are about individual ski lifts, and I felt that the articles about the different types of ski lifts are more worthy for inclusion on Wikipedia and should be separated. In addition, some of the article names for individual ski lifts look a lot like the different types of ski lifts, such as Funival and Magic Mile, and get in the way of someone looking for articles about the different types of ski lifts. This will be even more true when additional articles about supposedly notable ski lifts are added to Category:Ski lifts.
I do not do much categorization on Wikipedia. I apologize if I have done anything improper. If anyone reading this has a good reason, such as a Wikipedia policy or practice, for changing or reverting what I have done, please go ahead. If you simply disagree with me, you are welcome to change or revert my work, as well.
