This & Category:Computer programming[edit]

How does this category differ from Category:Computer programming? They share many subcategories, and some articles in Category:Computer programming, such as thread-safe, are programming language topics. Shouldn't these two groupings be combined? Moogle001 15:02, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was about to make the same suggestion. —Egriffin (talk) 13:17, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think that some articles in should be pushed down to . The first is a topic category. The latter is a specialization. I even think that could be renamed to `Programming language'. Every programming language-related topic (syntactic concepts, pragmatics, etc.) is related to computer programming. Truveldhc (talk) 19:23, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
