Renamed[edit]

This category was renamed from People of West Bengal in line with Wikipedia guidance, after brief discussion at [1]. --Mereda 10:36, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

category of living people?[edit]

This seems to be a category of living people with the sole exception of Chaitanya. How about moving him to History of Bengal? 'People from West Bengal' suggests current personalities.
