FYI, I moved this category to a subcategory of Category:People from Kern County, California, and changed the intro to say it is people from Bakersfield. I found that in the course of cleaning up Category:People from California it was useful to have categories of population by county, so for consistency I'm splitting this category into one for Bakersfield and one for all of Kern County. Most of these articles are people actually from Bakersfield, though, so I'll only be moving a few of the people from other cities currently in this category.
