How to add a food list to the Lists of foods[edit]

Thank you. I thought it would be alright, but when I tried to edit the category page and add it, the page looked different than other pages in that I don't see the existing text; there is no A-Z or food lists. I'm still fairly new so I thought maybe I needed to ask someone to add it. I'm not sure how it needs to be done. I just tried and previewed it and it appeared at the top of the page. I also need to add the letter T to file it under as well. Any ideas? Angela C

Nevermind. I was trying to edit 'Category:Lists of foods' to add List of foods containing tyramine, when I needed to edit List of foods containing tyramine and add 'Category:Lists of foods' to the categories at the bottom of the page. Some entries should be removed[edit]

I think that we can remove some of the entries from this category. For example, the article Edible mushroom is an article, not a list, and the list List of meat animals is not, strictly speaking, a list of foods. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 15:34, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I have just looked at the article Edible mushroom and seen that certain sections of it could be regarded as being list-like; but these sections do not even have the sub-heading "List of edible mushrooms". Comment on the alphabetical order of this list[edit]

The alphabetical order of this list needs to be revised. Under "L", we find some entries that are there simply because they begin "List" such as "List of Moroccan dishes"; yet other entries are put in a place suggesting inclusion under the main head word in the title of the category. It seems strange, for example, that "List of Moroccan dishes" comes under "L", yet "List of Irish dishes" comes under "I" - this seems to me to be contradicting rules about where to include entries in this list. My recommendation is for some to give the order of entries in this category a very thorough re-ordering. Many thanks in advance to any one who can do this.
