Proposal[edit]

  • We have jazz albums by nationality, jazz albums by genre, and jazz albums by record label. Why not jazz albums by artist? John Coltrane albums, Thelonious Monk albums - they are all just tossed in this category like it is some sort of garbage dump. According to many Wikipedians, categorizing "oh so special" albums in precise manners is unwelcome, as "albums by artist" is said to be "all inclusive". All inclusive of what? Chaos? Idiocy? The way the category now works is that every "album" below the albums by artist subcategory section should be recategorized into subgenres. Then all we are left with is albums by artist in a category for "genre albums". It is stupid. (Mind meal 10:17, 10 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]
