Category is including itself[edit]

I've noticed that displaying the relevant userboxes on this page that have "English Wikipedians" as their category has the unfortunate side-effect of including itself as a sub-category. I don't know how much of a problem this is, but subst:ing the boxes and removing the categories from their contents is one way around it. Having said that, it'd mean that this page would have to be updated every time the format of the userboxes is changed, so it's possible that the solution is worse than the problem...

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it in case nobody else has noticed!

Citizens of England[edit]

You cant technically be a citizen of England, as it is not a sovereign state. It is like saying that you are a citizen of New York State, which you can't be. It is British, the same as American. I myself, am a republican, but i know for a fact that this is true.

You can indeed be a citizen of either England or New York. A citizen of a sovereign state is also a citizen of a constituent subdivision of that state in which they are resident. That is, at least, how we view things in North America. Yours aye,  Buaidh  13:37, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
