Electrical / Electronic[edit]

There is no article on electrical components (the link at the top of the category page redirects to Electrical element) but there is an article on electronic components. (There may be an important difference between these concepts, but this difference is not clear to me from the articles.) Is this category about electrical or electronic components, or both? --RichardVeryard 08:31, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the heading to reflect the fact that this category appears to cover both electrical and electronic components. If this is incorrect or inappropriate, then perhaps someone with greater expertise in this area would like to sort it out? --RichardVeryard 15:01, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There should be an electrical component category as well as an electronic component directory. They should be subcats of Category:Electrical engineering and Category:Electronic engineering respectively. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 05:21, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
