Definition of ancient[edit]

An editor has been removing articles from this category with the comment "not ancient". So could someone please include a definition of ancient here? And could we please have a category or categories for former medieval and early modern roads? --Bermicourt (talk) 10:08, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
