Białochowo [bjawɔˈxɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rogóźno, within Grudziądz County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Rogóźno, 9 km (6 mi) north-east of Grudziądz, and 60 km (37 mi) north of Toruń.

History[edit]

During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), in 1939, it was the site of the Białochowo massacre [pl], in which 200 Poles, including farmers, policemen, and also women and children, were murdered by the Selbstschutz and SS (see Nazi crimes against the Polish nation).[2]
