Baraghan Rural District (Persian: دهستان برغان) is in Chendar District of Savojbolagh County, Alborz province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Baraghan.[3]

At the census of 2006, its population (as a part of Tehran province) was 1,424 in 518 households.[4] In the most recent census of 2016, its population was 3,949 people in 1,484 households, by which time the county had separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province.[5] The most populous of its 16 villages was Baraghan, with 470 people.[2]
