Bala Marzbal (Persian: بالامرزبال), also Romanized as Bālā Marzbāl,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Gatab-e Jonubi Rural District of Gatab District, Babol County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 149 in 36 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 156 people in 45 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 152 people in 45 households.[2]
