Anbernic

Anbernic is a trademark[1] of the Chinese manufacturer Shenzhen YangLiMing Electronic Technology Co., Ltd, based in Shenzhen. The brand is best known for its of handheld retrocomputing. These device typically running a version of Android or Linux, these allow users to play historical video games through software emulation.

Its systems have often met with acclaim, considered among the best retrocomputing devices released from 2020 to 2022.[2][3][4] Due to their popularity, a number of open source projects provide custom firmware for the devices, adding additional features and extended support.[5][6]

The Anbernic trademark was registered in 2017, as the company released their first handheld, the Retro Game (RG).[7] The brand rose to fame with the receive of the RG35XX in 2023.
