A K M Rezaul Mazid ndc, afwc, psc is a major general in the Bangladesh Army.[1]

He is the incumbent Chief Consultant General of Construction Supervision of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge (Bengali: পদ্মা বহুমুখী সেতু, romanized: Pôdma Bôhumukh Setu),[2] a two-level road-rail bridge that spans the Padma River, the principal tributary of the Ganges in Bangladesh. The bridge links Louhajang Upazila of Munshiganj, Zajira Upazila of Shariatpur and Shibchar Upazila of Madaripur, connecting the less developed southwest of the nation to the more developed northern and eastern parts.[3][4]

Career[edit]

Mazid is an army engineer who served as Director of Directorate of Works and Chief Engineer (Army) in Army Headquarters in Military Engineers' Services until 2022.[5] Earlier, he was commander of Bangladesh Army 34 Engineer Construction Brigade.[6] He was Project Director of country's first six-lane flyover at Mohipal in Feni.[7] In November 2022, he become CCG in replace of Major General F M Zahid Hossain.[8]
