Currently, 6,506 of a total of 6,831,659 Wikipedia articles (about 1 in 1,050) are featured articles, which have been thoroughly reviewed according to the featured article criteria. In addition 39,719 articles (about 1 in 172.000) are good articles which meet the good article criteria. Combined Wikipedia has 46,225 articles (about one in 147.791) which are either good or featured.
