Requested move 23 November 2023[edit]
- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Moved to Johnny Olszewski (politician). Consensus on the politician dab. (closed by non-admin page mover) – robertsky (talk) 06:23, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
John A. Olszewski Jr. → ? – This page is currently named in a way that does not follow WP:COMMONNAME and WP:Middle names. Local media websites write his name as Johnny Olszewski (WBAL, Baltimore Brew, Baltimore County Government) or Johnny Olszewski Jr. (BaltSun, Maryland Matters, WTOP) I feel that the page should be moved to either Johnny Olszewski Jr. or Johnny Olszewski (politician) to fix this issue. Y2hyaXM (talk) 17:56, 23 November 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. Bensci54 (talk) 17:17, 1 December 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. -- Maddy from Celeste (WAVEDASH) 18:57, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- Support Johnny Olszewski Jr., which'd never be ambiguous re his possibly notable father. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 18:38, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- Support Johnny Olszewski (politician). Seems to be his common name. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:36, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Support Johnny Olszewski (politics) per WP:COMMONNAME. 120.28.224.32 (talk) 20:34, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- "(politician)" would be the usual disambiguator. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:19, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

Let's do this, although I'll hold off until the dust is settled from the House primary. That said, off the bat: Queen of Hearts (talk) 04:12, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for reviewing! I’m hoping the primary doesn’t take as long as I think it might, but I also have a feeling that we won’t have to worry about that affecting the review of this page too much as the MD-02 primary will probably be called later tonight or early tomorrow. Y2hyaXM (talk) 10:53, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- I've also adjusted the lead to closer match what you've written in your review so far. Please let me know if anything else should be changed. Thanks again! Y2hyaXM (talk) 13:03, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Queen of Hearts Just a heads up, I'll be taking a brief break from May 26 to June 2, and will be unable to make any edits during that time. No rush, seeing as you're on break yourself, but I ask that you please do not continue your review until before/after that date range. Thanks again for reviewing! Y2hyaXM (talk) 15:50, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
- I misread 26 as 28; seeing as it's the 25th, I'll continue after. Enjoy your wikibreak. Queen of Hearts (talk) 19:13, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks! I've returned from my break now, so I should be available for the review anytime. Y2hyaXM (talk) 01:44, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
- Alright! expect it within the next few days. Queen of Hearts (🏳️⚧️ • 🏳️🌈) 01:56, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
