Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

- Comment: The few sources added since I last reviewed this don't even mention AJobThing, and therefore add precisely nothing to notability.I'll also say this: if the author doesn't respond to the COI/PAID queries before resubmitting, I will be recommending sanctions. Fair warning. DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:12, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Note that the submitter has not responded to concerns about paid editing, WP:COI. Greenman (talk) 08:08, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
AJobThing is a recruitment agency based in Malaysia that operates three different employment websites, Maukerja, Ricebowl, and Internsheeps.
Founded in Malaysia in 2013 under the company name Brightan System Sdn Bhd, AJobThing has expanded its presence and currently operates in both Malaysia and Indonesia.
History[edit]
Established in 2013 as Brightan System Sdn Bhd, AJobThing reached key milestones. AJobThing was co-founded by Ray Teng in 2013[1]. The company provides hiring solutions through Maukerja and Ricebowl (job portals), as well as Sonar, a recruitment management tool. The idea was developed by him for blue-collar and non-executive workers.
In 2014, AJobThing launched Maukerja for Bahasa Malaysia and English jobseekers[2]. In 2015, Ricebowl followed for Mandarin and English jobseekers.
In 2014, the Maukerja platform was initially built in Burmese. However, it gained traction among local Malaysians. Consequently, Ray Teng made the decision to transition from Burmese to the Bahasa Malaysia language. Maukerja initiated the Kita Jaga Kita campaign, recognizing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses and employment.[3][4][5] Adapting to the digital shift, Maukerja started offering online classes through Maukerja Academy [6]to help jobseekers and employees improve their skills in job searching and career development.
In 2015, Ray Teng also launched Ricebowl when there was an increase in demand from the Mandarin-speaking community.[7]
In 2016, Internsheeps was introduced, focusing on internship positions.
In 2016, AJobThing organized its first Ekspo Maukerja career fair in Kuala Lumpur[8]. The reach expanded further in 2017 with multi-city Ekspo Maukerja held in Johor and Penang.[9][10]
