The 2024 South Dakota Democratic presidential primary took place on June 4, 2024, as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2024 presidential election. 20 delegates to the Democratic National Convention will be allocated to presidential candidates.[2]

Incumbent President Joe Biden announced on April 25, 2023, his bid for a second term.[3] Biden won the primary.
