Support Lighting in this image is much better than the last FPC. I also like having a bit of nature in the background. The very top of the flower is out of focus, but the majority of it is there. Jujutacular ^T · C 23:36, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Small aperture was required to get the whole inflorescence into focus. Windy conditions = faster shutter = dark bg. FWIW, it's a lot better than the previously nominated picture which almost passed --Muhammad(talk) 07:25, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  - I realised the small aperture and would have forgiven that on its own. Thanks for explaining the windy conditions, and I do appreciate that it's much better than the previously nominated image.
