The result of the proposal was move to Hiv, Iran and point redirect at HIV. The base title is much more likely to be used as a search term by people looking for the topic of the virus.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:02, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

HivHiv (village) – Return this article to its former title so that "Hiv" can redirect to HIV. This village and Hiv Rural District will remain accessible via HIV (disambiguation), itself linked atop HIV. People living with HIV outnumber people living in Hiv more than 4000 fold. Also, the following pageview statistics (source) suggest >99% of the visitors to this page have a different destination in mind. Adrian J. Hunter(talkcontribs) 04:45, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Iranian Village Population Monthly Pageviews
