  • On the title, is this the official title of the work? Or is it simply a statue of this individual? I only ask because we had a similar discussion on the main page a few days back relating to whether or not to italicise Luther Monument.
    • @The Rambling Man: I'm not positive that the work actually has an official name. However, the Smithsonian Institution lists the official name as "Bishop John Carroll" (found at the reference link). Ergo Sum 21:03, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't think the lead is quite covering all the bases, could just mention the traditions in there.
  • "of the statue measures 82 inches .." not crystal clear which is H, W, D...
  • Ditto for the pedestal.
  • Some measurements in lots of inches, some in ft/inches, any strategy?
    • My logic was that all the calculations should be in inches except the final calculation of the overall dimensions of the sculpture, since ft/in is more easily related to than just inches. Ergo Sum 21:03, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • "in total, $7,000 were raised" (a) was raised? and (b) any worth in putting inflated value on this?
  • "at 11 o'clock on" -> 11 a.m.

Really, that's all I have. It's a good article, so I'll put it on hold while we chat around the above. Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:09, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Satisfied with those changes, added a tiny tweak of my own, but now good to go, so promoting. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:17, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
