Turn the image?

What if we turned the image sideways? There isn't really a correct "up" for a sketch. That would make it appear larger in the article. bd2412 T 15:16, 18 September 2017 (UTC)

Good idea. I entered the rotation request--should be done by a bot in a few hours. Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 16:52, 18 September 2017 (UTC)

Copyright status of drawing by Þorhallur Þrainsson

@Aerya4: There is a problem with the copyright license for the drawing by Þorhallur Þrainsson, because Antiquity's published license is not CC-by-sa. According to the article, its copyright is Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives licence, not acceptable for use on Wikipedia. Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 06:19, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

@Grand'mere Eugene: I work for Antiquity and we would like the image to be used in this way. Should I upload it as an image in which I hold the copyright instead? Aerya4 (talk) 11:22, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

@Aerya4: Copyright issues are complicated, especially because copyright laws do vary from nation to nation! Usually, the copyright license for an image is held by the artist or the artist's heirs. If you can establish that you are the copyright holder, then your best course of action would be to post a note at the Commons Village pump/Copyright asking how to proceed. I suspect as the copyright holder you may need to send email to the Open-source Ticket Request System (OTRS) using this template. Let me know if you need help with any of this. @Aerya4:Unfortunately, CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 is not an accepted copyright license for Wikipedia. For acceptable licenses, see Wikipedia:File copyright tags. — Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 18:24, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
