"Made of sandstone, quartzite": twice wrong[edit]

@Vsmith, Volcanoguy, and Kent G. Budge: hi. I'm inviting to the (as yet non-existent) discussion those colleagues who seem to be the main contributors to the "quartzite" and "sandstone" articles. Thank you for taking a look.

I see the MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art) website is the source. Still not OK in my opinion, but makes clarification close to impossible. Quartzite is metamorphic, sandstone is sedimentary. Quartz is the common element, but that's it. Anyone more knowledgeable in geology/mineralogy? Is partial metamorphosis in such a small rock a possibility?
