Points on leaving picture alone are coming[edit]

I'm tied up right now but will post some points soon. Cliffswallow-vaulting (talk) 01:12, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've looked at the related post (on my userpage) where the pending deletion is explained. But frankly I don't understand what the issue is. I went and read the related Wikipedia section that the person cited as the reason for SD, but I can't see how that specifically related to this image.
Can anyone help? Please explain here (in specific detail) (here, in this talk area) what the issue is before deleting (so that I may have a chance to refute).
Thanks,

While waiting for a response[edit]

On why (specifically) the page is up for deletion. But in the meantime, here are (a few, not all) of the reasons why the page should not be deleted.
1) John Pendleton Kennedy died in the United States in 1870. So there are no copyright restrictions on using an image of him whatsoever.
2) The image shown actually DOES have it's meta-details filled out.
3) The image is highly relevant to several related articles and categories (see image file metadata).
