the map[edit]

the map is not fully right. the Livonian part of Latvia is shown as if they inhabited or inhabit only one extremely small portion of the western side of Latvia, but it's not right. Livonians, as indigenous people of what is nowadays Latvia, lived along all the coastline and much inside the land, especially in north-east part of Latvia (vidzeme). The map, therefore, should be replaced. RonDivine (talk) 23:12, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would also add that the word "Livonian" appears to lie underneath the peninsula and is thus obscured by it, rendering it illegible. Liam Proven (talk) 15:36, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What language is the one marked #(south of Karelian)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.83.137.190 (talk) 16:11, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Should be Ingrian language and a bit of Votic language but can't be sure. The modern distribution of these language is too sparse to really justify labelling the entire Ingria area as such anyway. I'd edit the image if it were SVG. Kelvinc (talk) 14:51, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
