The individual in the picture is not a Colour Sergeant of the Welsh Guards. He is one rank above; a WO2. The individual concerned would be a tad miffed at the loss of rank and the chance to be addressed as "Sir". A Colour Sergeant of the Welsh Guards full dress insignia is illustrated at the link below.
