| Description |
English: A large, stylish visitor center opposite the "Seven Pillars of Wisdom", the mountain named after Lawrence of Arabia's book. Wadi Rum is a spectacularly scenic desert valley in southern Jordan. Masses of soaring cliffs and sandstone and granite mountains. Wadi Rum rocky formations are made mostly of sandstone (clastic sedimentary rock of quartz or feldspar) and granite rock.
