English: members of the U.S. Navy's Pacific Partnership 2015 planning team had tea with Fijian military counterparts at the RFMF Headquarters in Suva to discuss the missions engagements in Fiji. Pacific Partnership is conducting more than 40 medical events in Fiji, such as surgical screenings, medical surgeries, subject matter expert exchanges, and basic life support training. The mission will also conduct community service events, including band performances and sporting events. Multilateral missions like Pacific Partnership are based on common goals between the U.S. and partner nations and contribute to regional security by building common understanding and shared experience. Pacific Partnership engagements in Fiji will include participants from the defense forces of Fiji, United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, and New Zealand.
