Summary

Description The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Morton (DD-948) underway in the Indian Ocean as part of the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CV-41) battle group, circa in the 1970s or early 1980s.
Note: The date given "5 June 1983" has to be incorrect, as Morton was decommissioned on 22 November 1982 and sold for scrapping on 17 March 1992.
