Summary

Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31) underway after her recommissioning in early 1951. Note that she was reactivated in almost the same state as she had been retired in 1947. The only visible modification is the addition of the SPS-6 radar. Due to the requirements of the Korean War, she had been reactivated in a matter of a few months.
