Description
English: Hwa Chong Temple (華藏寺) [1] is the largest Buddhist temple complex in the Philippines at Northern Polytech, University Hills Subdivision, Potrero, Malabon founded by the initiator of Chinese Buddhism in the Philippines, Master Xingyuan (性願) temple opened in 1953 with main temple building, a large ossuary columbary, ancestral halls, dining hall, and various multi-purpose rooms garden with two large ponds a memorial pagoda for Xingyuan In 1990 with its own abbot Zhenyi (真意), a disciple of Miaojue and two Dharma brothers are in charge of the temple up to the present; due to its traditional Chinese architecture, the temple grounds have been used for film and television projects, most recently the TV5 teleserye, Ang Babaeng Hampaslupa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babaeng_Hampaslupa].
