Français : Cet hôtel de maître a été construit vers 1825 et abrite aujourd'hui le musée de la Tapisserie. De style néoclassique, la construction occupe un plan en "L" et s’élève sur deux niveaux. La façade donnant sur la place Reine Astrid, composée de briques enduites sur soubassement en pierre appareillée, se divise en deux parties, celle de gauche étant située en léger ressaut. Dans les travées de droite sont percées trois grandes arcades surmontées d’une frise représentant des éléments végétaux stylisés. L’arcade centrale est fermée par une porte cochère ornée de panneaux plaqués de motifs en fonte (têtes humaines, feuillages et trumeau représentant un tronc). L’étage est percé de six baies séparées par des pilastres moulurés. Les travées de gauche sont ouvertes de trois baies rectangulaires entourées de deux pilastres. L’étage est éclairé de trois fenêtres encadrant des colonnes supportant un entablement et un fronton triangulaire. Les deux parties sont unifiées par le bandeau d’allège continu orné d’un décor géométrique en fonte. La seconde façade, tournée vers le parc de l’hôtel de Ville, est rythmée de neuf travées de baies rectangulaires.

Dit herenhuis werd rond 1825 gebouwd en herbergt nu het Musée de la Tapisserie. Het gebouw heeft een neoklassieke stijl, heeft een "L"-vormig plan en is gebouwd op twee niveaus. De gevel met uitzicht op het Koningin Astridplein, bestaande uit bakstenen gepleisterd op een kelder van metselsteen, is opgedeeld in twee delen. In de rechter baaien staan drie grote bogen met daarop een fries dat gestileerde plantenelementen voorstelt. De centrale boog wordt afgesloten door een koetspoort versierd met panelen met gietijzeren motieven (menselijke hoofden, gebladerte en trumeau die een kofferbak voorstellen). De eerste verdieping heeft zes traveeën, gescheiden door gegoten pilasters. De linker baaien zijn open met drie rechthoekige baaien omgeven door twee pilasters. De eerste verdieping wordt verlicht door drie ramen met kozijnen die een entablatuur en een driehoekig fronton dragen. De twee delen worden verenigd door de doorlopende dorpelband versierd met een geometrische gietijzeren decoratie. This mansion was built around 1825 and now houses the Musée de la Tapisserie. In a neoclassical style, the building occupies an "L" shaped plan and is built on two levels. The facade overlooking Queen Astrid Square, composed of bricks on a basement of stone, is divided into two parts, the left one being located in a slight protrusion. In the right-hand bays are three large arches topped by a frieze representing stylized plant elements. The central archway is closed by a carriage gate decorated with panels plated with cast iron motifs (human heads, foliage and trumeau representing a trunk). The first floor has six bays separated by molded pilasters. The left bays are open with three rectangular bays surrounded by two pilasters. The first floor is illuminated by three windows framing columns supporting an entablature and a triangular pediment. The two parts are unified by the continuous sill band decorated with a geometric cast iron decoration. The second façade, facing the City Hall Park, is punctuated by nine bays of rectangular bays.
