Français : La Maison du 20 due des Carliers date de la fin du XVIIe siècle. Sa façade de quatre travées est constituée d’un rez-de-chaussée de style Louis XIV et d’un étage de type tournaisien. Le premier style est caractérisé par l’emploi de la pierre appareillée pour les encadrements des percements, tandis que le second se reconnaît à l’utilisation alternée de la pierre et de la brique (montants et linteaux), ici couverte d’un badigeon blanc.
Sur soubassement en pierre appareillée, le rez-de-chaussée s’ouvre de trois baies à encadrement à joints épais et aux montants communs, auxquelles répondent les fenêtres de l’étage. La verticalité de la façade est contrebalancée par l’accentuation de l’horizontalité grâce aux cordons-larmiers (au niveau des linteaux des baies) et au bandeau non saillant (continuant les seuils des baies de l’étage). La toiture en croupe frontale est percée d’une lucarne également à croupe, fermée d’un vantail en bois. Its four-bay façade consists of a ground floor in the Louis XIV style and a Turin-style floor. The first style is characterised by the use of fitted stone for the piercing frames, while the second is characterised by the alternating use of stone and brick (uprights and lintels), here covered with a white whitewash.
