Français : Les façades, les charpentes et les toitures de l'immeuble sis quai des Poissonsceaux, N°2 et à l'angle de la rue des Carliers, N°2.
Cette maison d’angle de style néoclassique date de la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle. Formé de six travées (une travée quai des Poissonsceaux, une autre dans le pan coupé et les quatre autres rue des Carliers) de deux niveaux sur soubassement appareillé, cet édifice est caractérisé par les lignes sobres des entablements, seuils de baies et pilastres toscans engagés qui courent sur toute la longueur de la façade, y compris au niveau de la dernière travée de la rue des Carliers, dépourvue d’étage. English: TOURNAI —House at the corner of 2 rue des Carliers and 2 quai des Poissonsceaux.
This neoclassical style corner house dates from the second half of the 19th century. Composed of six bays (one in the Fish Quay, one, in the cut section between the two streets and the other four in the Rue des Carliers) with two levels on a fitted base, this building is characterised by the sober lines of the entablatures, bay sills and engaged Tuscan pilasters that run along the entire length of the façade, including the last bend in the Rue des Carliers, which has no floor. A ridge roof of croupette tiles with a croup roof and a croup skylight surmount the whole. |
