Cette habitation est une construction du XVIIe siècle. Tout comme sa voisine (le n° 17), il s’agit d’une maison de type Louis XIV (soubassement et encadrement des baies en pierre tandis que les allèges et les entablements sont en briques), fortement modifiée au cours du temps, en témoigne le rez-de-chaussée aménagé à des fins commerciales. La façade, de typologie semblable à sa voisine, en est pourtant très différente. Les montants en pierre appareillé de l’étage ont été recouverts d’un enduit blanc, tandis que les briques composant les allèges et entablements sont laissées à nu. Les trois travées s’élèvent sur deux niveaux et sont séparés par des cordons larmiers. L’édifice est couvert d’une toiture à croupe frontale en tuiles percée d’une lucarne en bâtière. This house is a construction of the seventeenth century. Like its neighbor (No. 17), it is a Louis XIV type house (basement and frame of stone bays while the spandrels and entablatures are brick), strongly modified over time, evidenced by the ground floor converted for commercial purposes.

Dit huis is een 17e eeuwse constructie. Net als zijn buurman (nr. 17) is het een huis in Lodewijk XIV-stijl (kelder en kozijnen van stenen ramen, terwijl de dorpels en entablaturen van baksteen zijn gemaakt), sterk veranderd in de loop der tijd, zoals blijkt uit de begane grond.
