Description
English: Coat of arms of the prince-abbot of Stavelot (Stavelot-Malmédy) carved on a stone in the wall of. St. Remacle Church in the village of Louveigné. The use of the crozier and the sword indicates that the prince-abbot was both a spiritual and temporal lord. The prince-abbot had seat and voice at the Imperial Diet.
