Summary

Description
English: A muni or sage as depicted on one of the pillas of Jambukeshwara temple. Each stone pillar has a carving each on all of its sides. This carving probably depicts Jambuka muni with quite a detail which is highly reminiscent of Chola art elsewhere, specifically the temples built by Chola kings for worshipping Hindu deity Shiva.
