South_Gare_power_lines.jpg(253 × 139 pixels, file size: 16 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Summary

Description
English: This is an image of the power cables (wires) feeding the facilities at the end of South Gare on the River Tees in north east England. This is of particular interest because of the devices attached to the lines as they are suspected of being anti-vibration dampers. – In fact: a wire marker ball (for aviation safety).
