Summary

Description
English: A soldier manoeuvres a Quad Bike (Yamaha Grizzly 450) over the harsh desert terrain of Afghanistan.

The Quad bike provides dismounted troops with a light tactical mobility platform that can carry essential combat loads, resupply troops and extract casualties.

Coupled with the Logic SMT172B trailer, it has the ability to carry up to two casualties or a maximum load of 350kg at 30Kph.

This image was a winner in the Amateur Category of the Army Photographic Competition 2013.
