Summary

Description
English: The left engine turbine of PK661, which had fractured prior to the mishap flight in December 7. The fractured turbine caused vibration that travelled through the shaft. In turn, this caused physical contact between components, such as the bearing No.6. The prolonged rubbing caused the metal to wear away and enter the overspeed valve, contaminating it and put more stress to the damaged flyweights as it acted like a gum to the rotating flyweights.
