| Description |
愛媛県 西条市 の祭礼「西条祭り／伊曽乃神社祭礼」に奉納される 「 朔日市(ついたち) 」地区の御輿屋台。 もともとは現在のような大型の屋台だったが 戦後～昭和末期まで 新居浜から購入したとみられる小型の太鼓台を改造してつくられた子供屋台であった時期があり、 この間 この屋台の車輪も現在のような大型のものではなく 60cm径程度のトラックの車輪を取り付けてペンキで社紋を描き入れた簡素なものであった。 平成に入り､かつての子供屋台で育ってきた子若衆が成長して青年団に入るようになってから 「 元来の姿の「 大人御輿 」を復活させたい 」とする気運が高まったため 後年まもなく 現在の朔日市御輿が新調して復活することとなった。 また昔より青年団をはじめとする若衆の平均年齢が非常に若い地区であるため、 現在でも地元では「 小若衆の御輿 」というイメージが定着している。 |
