Summary

Description
English: As predicted, after making landfall over Oman, Tropical Cyclone Phet took a right turn and headed eastward over the Arabian Sea, making a second landfall in Pakistan. Phet finally weakened on June 6, 2010, after raging along Pakistan’s coast. By the time the storm wound down, it had killed four people in Pakistan and 15 people in Oman, Agence France-Prese reported. The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image on June 6, 2010. Phet lacks a discernible eye in this image, but retains it central core and spiral arms, which stretch from the Arabian Sea to Pakistan’s interior.
