Summary

Description The Sacred Valley is rich with agriculture, creating a lovely patchwork of fields. I believe much of this is Amaranth, a specialty of the San Salvidor area and a super-ancient gluten-free grain of the Andean region (cultivated for over 8000 years according to Wikipedia). It used to be cultivated far more in Incan times than is used today.
