Summary

Description
English: An early-morning satellite image (taken at 6:56 am West Africa Standard Time) shows a drone at Dirkou Airport in Niger. According to the The New York Times, drones have operated out of the airport since at least 2018. Planet’s constellation of SkySats allows imaging at multiple times of day, including opportunities outside of the typical mid-morning and early-afternoon overpass windows. A General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper drone is visible outside of a hanger.
