Description
English: This picture displays one of the devices used for the calibration of the Virgo gravitational wave detectors, called a Newtonian Calibrator (NCal). It is here opened so that the rotor inside can be seen ; the picture was taken at the IPHC, prior to its installation at the Virgo site.
