Summary[edit]

The steamboat Myrtle, on left, abandoned ca. 1941. The abandoned steamer Telegraph is on the right. The photographer was Ralph L. Gifford. The source is the UO/OSU combined digital library. The image number is P218 SG2 Series VIII. Fair use for Myrtle is claimed because this is possibly the only image which shows the Myrtle in an abandoned state, it was used once before, in Marshall, Don, Shipwrecks of Oregon (1983) to illustrate the Mytle, there is no known commercial use, and only a part of the original image is employed.
