Summary

Description
English: Dish with the depiction of Mother Armenia mourning among the ruins of her ancient cities, framed by banners and symbols of the first kingdoms and the old dynasties of Armenia. Mount Ararat in the background. Painted by Armenian craftsman Kagop Karabatzakian, probably at the Kutahia factory in Athens in the mid 1920s. Benaki Museum of Islamic Art, Souvenir of Kütahya exhibition.
