Part of a set of 32 maiolica plates in late istoriato style, adroned with arlecchino depictions (commedia dell'arte). In 17th-century, the sumptuous istoriato majolica once requested by the rich families from Florence, was simplified into a figurative, satiric and caricatural genre.
