Description
Deutsch: Kurt Reuber, Selbstbildnis. Dieses Exemplar hängt im Kloster Kirchberg, es ist nicht ersichtlich, ob es sich um das Original oder eine Kopie handelt. Das Bild hat den Titel: "ich, in Festung Stalingrad" und ist datiert auf den 5./6. Januar 1943. Unten eine Notiz: unfertig, da Kommandeur eben mitteilt, daß er sofort abfliegt. Der Zeichner ist über siebzig Jahre tot, jegliche Urheberrechte sind nach deutschem Recht inzwischen erloschen.
English: Kurt Reuber, self portrait. This portrait is in Kloster Kirchberg, it is not clear if it is an original or a copy. The inscription reads "me, in fort Stalingrad", it is dated to the 5./6. of January 1943. On the bottom a note: "not finished, because the commander tells me that he will depart immediately". The painter is dead for more than 70 years, all copyrights are expired.
